Abstract:
Republic of Moldova's immediate rapprochement with the European Union has made it
inevitable to reconfigure the relevant security policies, in accordance with those of the EU. A
separate approach is also the case of securing the state border. The issue of ensuring border
security and the effective regulation of increasingly intensive cross-border flows is facing
several countries. At the same time, the processes of global and regional integration are gaining
momentum.
This study aims to investigate the level of security of the Republic of Moldova in the
context of Integrated State Border Management as the main tool that facilitates border control,
information exchange and cooperation at national and international level.
