Articolul este focusat pe caracterizarea principalelor obligaţiuni şi responsabilităţi ale asistentului social, prevăzute
de deontologia asistenţei sociale. Autorul menţionează că astăzi fiecare profesie îşi are o deontologie proprie, îşi are
elaborat un sistem de reguli şi norme care se cer a fi respectate pentru a asigura succesul profesional al oricărui specialist.
Deontologia asistenţei sociale reprezintă un complex de norme, reguli, prescripţii şi dispoziţii despre datoria şi
obligaţiunile profesionale, despre toate tipurile de responsabilităţi ale asistentului social. Deontologia profesională este
formalizată în Coduri speciale. Codurile etice ale asistenţei sociale, elaborate în diferite ţări, stipulează valoarea umană,
demnitatea şi unicitatea tuturor persoanelor, precum şi drepturile şi responsabilităţile lor, afirmând voinţa profesioniştilor
de a acţiona întotdeauna conform principiilor morale.
Autorul expune, în continuare, responsabilităţile asistentului social în diverse genuri de relaţii („asistent socialbeneficiar”,
„asistent social-coleg”, „asistent social-instituţie angajatoare” etc.), având ca suport principal: Etica în
asistenţa socială. Declaraţie de principii (2004) a Asociaţiei Internaţionale a Şcolilor de Asistenţă Socială (IASSW) /
Federaţiei Internaţionale a Asistenţilor Sociali (IFSW), Codul etic (2008) al Asociaţiei Naţionale Americane a Asistenţilor
Sociali (NASW), Codul etic (2010) al Asociaţiei Britanice a Asistenţilor Sociali (BASW), Codul deontologic al
profesiei de asistent social, adoptat de Colegiul Naţional al Asistenţilor Sociali din România (2008) şi Codul deontologic
al asistentului social din Republica Moldova (2005).
The paper is focused on the characterization of the main obligations and responsibilities of the social worker provided
by the deontology of
social work. The author notes that today every profession has its own deontology, has developed a
system of rules and regulations that need to be followed to ensure the professional success of any specialist.
