Abstract:
Environmental issues and climate change are one of the major social problems, given
the long-term negative effects and consequences. Psychologists can help people and communities to adapt and mitigate these effects. Researchers show that climate change is not
just an ecological issue, but a problem with profound psychosocial effects. Thus, the investigation of the psychological factors that determine the environmental behavior is essential
in order to understand the reasons of engagement in pro-environmental actions.
