Școala Lingvistică de la Bucureşti, în frunte cu acad. Al. Rosetti, a susţinut că limba noastră literară s-a fixat prin textele coresiene, tipărite la Braşov în a doua
jumătate a secolului al XVI-lea. La temelia limbii din traducerile respective stă graiul
popular dintre Târgovişte şi Braşov. Este evident că tipăriturile lui Coresi au jucat un rol
foarte important la fixarea normelor limbii literare şi la dezvoltarea ei ulterioară.
Coresi a fost un diacon ortodox, traducător și tipograf român, originar din Târgoviște.
Este editorul primelor cărți tipărite în limba română. A publicat, în total, circa 35 de titluri, apărute în sute de exemplare și răspândite în toate ținuturile românești, facilitând
unitatea lingvistică a poporului român, dar și apariția limbii române literare.
The Linguistic School in Bucharest, headed by acad. Al. Rosetti, argued
that Romanian literary language was formed on the basis of the coresian texts, printed
in Brasov in the second half of the XVI th century. At the foundation of the language of
these translations is the popular language between Târgovişte and Braşov. It is obvious
that Coresi’s prints played a very important role in setting the rules of the literary language and its further development.
Coresi was an orthodox deacon, translator and Romanian typographer, from
Târgovişte. He is the editor of the first books printed in Romanian. He published about
35 titles, printed in hundreds of copies and emergence of Romanian literary language.
