dc.description.abstract	In this paper the large-time behavior of solutions to the Cauchy problem for abstract differential equations of second order with positive definite operator in a real Hilbert space is studied. It is obtained that the solutions to the considered problem tend to solution to the associated Cauchy problem for first order differential equation, as t tend to infinite.	en
