Abstract:
National and cultural revival of Bessarabia in 1917 is an actual subject in our days, in specially after the colapse of U.S.S.R. and appearance of new states in estern and central Europe, including Republic of Moldova. It is important to highlight the role of National Moldavian Party and Militar Comitets in national movement of bessarabian romanians, without excluding cultural societies and cultural propagandists (including refugees) from Romania, who fought for revival of national conscience of bessarabians. Even if it was a subject of russification, the romanian feature of Bessarabia was not erased, and national manifestations from 1917 proved it. A strong expression of national aspirations of bessarabian romanians was March 27, 1918, when the will of the people became the Act of Union of Bessarabia with Romania.
