Abstract:
Peace and security represent two of the most important phenomena between states on the international arena. Taking into consideration the conditions and consequences of the globalization, one of the main problems of the Republic of Moldova is the ensuring of the state’s security, because Moldova still doesn’t have a clear perspective of its foreign and security policy. A consequent security policy has to be based on diminishing the threats and vulnerabilities which affect the security sector of the country and to be structured in accordance with the new realities, tendencies and necessities. This study tries to examine the actual dimensions of a security policy and to emphasize the policy of the Republic of Moldova in a globalized world.
