Abstract:
The theory of twin characters/ doppelgänger is relatively new and marks a new form of literature, a new formula of thinking. The structure of this concept consists in the existence of two similar or opposite characters, whose function is to highlight the features of the protagonist or to generate the conflict in the narrative.
