Abstract:
This thesis is an attempt at a psychocritical approach to Eminescu's prose, in accordance with the operations of the method proposed by Charles Mauron. Although, apparently, the Eminescu female character is unilateral, still in the author's prose we identify a variety of hypostases. Thus, it can be admitted that the figure of the total woman in Eminescu's work has its origin in the loss of the two „great loves” – the mother and the dear woman.
