Abstract:
New technologies have changed the way decision is making all over the
world, it is even happening with judicial decision-making. This article present the
possibility of using technologies and Big Data as a tool for supporting the decision
making process in the judiciary. The article propose to reconsider the value of data,
and consider judicial data as strategic assets of the courts. The research highlight
the need for implementing data governance principles in the courts activity, or over
wise data could not serve as reliable premises for effective judgment and decisions.
Considering the experience of using data in field of justice, the hereby study promote
the idea of expanding use of data in other public domains, and consider the data
value for decision-making processes.
