Abstract:
Starting point of this thesis was the perplexity in front of privileging sight in the disfavour of the other senses. We questioned the virtues of vision, showing how they determined the passive hypostasis of the thinker to the world, based on his manner of philosophizing. We distinguished between a ocular model of theoretical investigation and a phenomenological one, which would review the ontological and epistemological status of the thinker for his social commitment and accountability.
