Abstract:
This article contains real data demonstrating that the child's tumoral malignancy have a negativ impact on child's psychosocial development and family functionality. Research has shown that social assistant intervention, in all stages of the tumor path, determines the reduction of these negative effects of the disease. More than that, an adequate psychosocial support leads to the successful integration of the family with the oncological affected child, in society.
