Abstract:
This article summarizes the thesis with the same title aiming to identify the most serious and frequent violations of the legislation and ethical norms in covering the topics in which children are involved. Based on a quantitative and qualitative analysis the paper provides practical guidelines for improving the activity of the mass media in the field of child protection. Finally, the dimensions of the ”children's rights-based approach” are conceptualized.
