Abstract:
The crescendo diversification of juvenile delinquency regulations has led several states to adopt special legislation on the subject, as well as to set up specialized courts to examine cases for minors. This trend seems to justify doctrinal approaches to “a juvenile criminal law”. In the present scientific paper, a short incursion is made in the legislation of some states (France, Spain, Italy, Romania, Russian Federation) regarding the situation of children in conflict with the law, including being abused and the norms of material law in the field of Moldovan legislation. At the same time, the shortcomings of the local legal framework in this area are outlined and some proposals are made to improve it.
