Abstract:
Parliamentary
control,
along
with
the
legislative
function,
is
an essential
prerogative
of any
democratic
legislative
forum.
The
function
of parliamentary
control
resides
in a set
of democratic
procedures
and
mechanisms
through
which
the
activities
of the
Government,
of some
authorities
and
public
institutions
are
subject
to political
control,
as well
as the
investigation
of the
factual
situations
with
major
impact
for
the
interests
of the
state
and
of the
society,
incompatible
with
the
political
imperatives
and
economic,
with
the
law
or public
morals.
