Abstract:
Independent academic learning is an effective mechanism for training professional competences. In the result of
reforming higher education, applying ECTS combines student’s activity in classroom with independent academic work,
but you need to create the form and format in which the individual student's work becomes part of the training program.
Currently, the formative opportunities of training and individual work are not exploited and by this manner the function
of accumulation of ECTS is not fully accomplished.
