Abstract:
There do exist in the society more norms at the same time (moral, cultural, religious, legal etc.), established through
written or unwritten rules, transmitted, disseminated and sanctioned by legislation or customs and public opinion. Delinquency represents a phenomenon which includes the overall violations of social norms, with criminal punishment,
and therefore refers to illegal activities. The psychological perspective on delinquents arises as a necessity of completing the approach of legal norms and social dimension of the delinquency with a deep and complex involvement of the
delinquent individuals, of the delinquent and non-delinquent individual roles. The article presents some guiding marks
in establishing the needs and problems encountered by persons released from detention facilities. The research suggests
some ways of approaching the ex-detainees. A special attention is paid to juveniles, because it is thought that the psychosocial reports on social reintegration are more efficient in this very period.
