Abstract:
It is clear that we cannot know today, with any degree of certainty, whether trade in S.E.E. region can actually
increase in the future. Since several S.E.E. countries have registered an increase in intra – S.E.E. export in recent years,
this could lead to the conclusion that the stability Pact of trade liberalization initiative has indeed stimulated trade with
neighboring countries.
Even if the S.E.E. region, however we define it, today does not qualify as an economically integrated region, this
does not mean that trade liberalization will not be beneficial and will not lead to its greater integration in the future.
