MOLDOVENISMUL ACTUAL: „REALIZĂRI” ŞI „PERSPECTIVE” (I)

Abstract

Esenţa moldovenismului actual constă în recunoaşterea existenţei unui „popor moldovenesc”, deosebit de poporul român şi a unei „limbi moldoveneşti”, diferită de limba română, acordarea limbii ruse a statutului de limbă de stat. Moldoveniştii se declară apărători fideli ai statalităţii moldoveneşti, care trebuie să se orienteze spre Uniunea Euro-Asiatică, nu spre Uniunea Europeană. Evident, sub nicio condiţie nu acceptă disciplina Istoria Românilor, permanent solicită înlăturarea ei din planurile de studii şi introducerea disciplinei Istoria Moldovei în scopul de a educa „patrioţi ai Moldovei”. Sintezele moldoveniste apărute în ultimile două decenii la Chişinău, Moscova şi Odesa caută să „demonstreze” „originalitatea moldovenilor” chiar de la formarea lor, în secolele XIII-XIV, poate chiar şi mai înainte, în Maramureş (Transilvania), la est de Carpaţi, sau poate în altă parte. Sursele documentare sunt falsificate, se insistă că termenul voloh ar desemna o entitate etnică existentă la est de Carpaţi deosebită de comunitatea etnică desemnată cu termenul valah, care locuia în spaţiul dintre Dunăre şi Carpaţi.

The essence of current Moldovenism is the recognition of existence of ”Moldovan people”, different from the Romanian people, and of “Moldovan language”, different from Romanian language, giving the Russian language the status of a State language. Moldovenists declare themselves loyal defenders of the Moldovan statehood, which must turn to the Euro-Asian Union, not to the European Union. Obviously, under no circumstances they do not accept the discipline of the History of Romanians, permanently requesting its removal from the study plans and the introduction of the discipline “History of Moldova” in order to educate the “patriots of Moldova”. The Moldovenists syntheses that emerged in Chisinau, Moscow and Odessa in the last two decades seek to “demonstrate” the “originality of the Moldovan people”, from their formation in the 13th-14th centuries, perhaps even earlier, in Maramures (Transylvania), to the east of the Carpathians, or perhaps elsewhere. The documentary sources are falsified, they insist that the term voloh would designate a different ethnic entity existent to the East of the Carpathians, from the ethnic community designated by the term valah, living in the space between the Danube and the Carpathians.
