Lucrarea de faţă reflectă necesitatea utilizării resurselor naturale existente şi implementarea în practică a produselor
autohtone în profilaxia bolilor metabolice. S-a pus accentul
pe obţinerea şi studiul substanţelor biologic active din
materia primă de origine vegetală şi animală (entomologică)
asupra stării funcţionale a unor glande endocrine. Au fost
cercetate diverse preparate cu acţiune antidiabetică în dereglările de metabolism.
