dc.description.abstract The research presents an empirical analysis of the performance of European neutral states, Austria, Finland and Sweden, at the international arena during the Cold War. The study was focused on these states since their neutralities were either the Bi-polarity’s product (Austria, Finland) or the necessity to strategically adapt itself in Bi-polarity (Sweden). The comparative investigations is conducted to identify and explain recently-historical similarities and differences of these states’ neutrality foreign policies in order to understand current and future tendencies of European neutral states in the framework of modern international security. en
