Abstract:
The results of this paper describe the comparative study of in vitro assays compared to the
molecular docking assay of biologically active oxygenated norlabdane compounds and terpeneheterocyclic hybrid compounds, obtained from (-)-sclareol, (+)-larixol and larixyl acetate. The in
vitro antimicrobial activity of the obtained compounds was tested on fve strains of fungi and two
species of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The results of the presented computational
simulations correlate very well with the experimental outcome and highlight the three most active
norlabdane compounds with heterocyclic fragment.
