Abstract:
Advanced UVA-based technologies have been used to monitor small-scale agricultural fields
in the private sector. The Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) analysis, with
a decisive role in ensuring plant productivity, was carried out with the help of multispectral
cameras. Multispectral sensors have been shown to be effective in the phenotyping of some agricultural
crops, in establishing the physiological state of plants, depending on the development
phase, highlighting the density of plants and the presence of weeds, but also in identifying some
problems in the field, caused by the improper processing of land, demonstrating opportunities for
their use in monitoring agricultural fields and improving the quality of agroecosystem services.
