Abstract:
This article is dedicated to examining the mechanisms of citizen participation in the
decision-making process at the local level. Decision-making transparency within public
administrations is an essential component in carrying out tasks or administrative action.
One of the most important requirements for achieving this goal consists in improving communication
between state institutions and citizens, improving communication and relations
between authorities and the community, as well as the involvement and consultation of
citizens and civil society in the decision-making process.
