Abstract:
The master’s thesis „Streng the ning sustainable public procurement in the Republic of
Moldova. Regulation versus Implementation” explores the challenges and discrepancies
in implementing sustainable public procurement in Republic of Moldova. Sustainable public
procurement is crucial for promoting sustainable development, protecting the environment,
and achieving economic growth. Nevertheless, there exists a disparity between the
regulations and their practical implementation. The thesis analyses the implementation of
sustainable procurement regulations in Republic of Moldova, examines obstacles and best
practices from other countries, and proposes measures to improve sustainable procurement
outcomes. The practical implementation of sustainable public procurement requires
collaboration and commitment from all stakeholders to ensure responsible and transparent
procurement practices that contribute to the sustainable and responsible development of
the country.
