interpretarea sinuciderii, posibilitatea iertării ş.a.
The article re-tackles fundamental thematic accents, defining for the work of F.
Dostoevsky, the author of a paradoxical thought which has decisively influenced the
universal literary process and which, in order to be “discovered”, requires profound and
repeated readings. Also, some thematic-ideational affinities with A. Camus’s vision of
existence and man are examined from a comparative perspective, the main investigated
topics being: the conception about revolt, the relationship between crime and punishment,
the problem of culpability, the interpretation of suicide, the possibility of forgiveness
etc. Dostoevsky’s conceptions influence on those of Camus can be detected in
two ways: directly, these being references to the Russian writer work in several articles
and in the fundamental study „The Revolted Man”, in which the social-philosophical
context of several Dostoevsky characters behavior and visions about existence and man
are analyzed, and indirectly, in the artistic work, through various analogies, artistic codifications,
thematic parallelisms, repetitions and revalorizations, interpretations of some
contexts, ideational axes, characters etc.
