Abstract:
The complexity of the criminal phenomenon is manifested by the presence of many factors that encourage a person to commit a crime. One of the criminological theories that explain the motivation of criminal behaviour is The New Criminological Theory. This theory analyzes the reasons which encourage a person to commit one of the gravest crimes. These offences are committed as a form of protest against the existing social order. For example, terrorist acts represent the crime, that is committed to change the contemporary social structure. This article is a study dedicated to analyzing the New Criminology Theory. In this context, we highlight the essence of the concept of crime as a manifest. These crimes are based on philosophical, political and religious ideas.
