Abstract:
In the period 1995-2001, the Republic of Moldova amended the media legislation
and adopted new laws in the media field, which were inspired from the experience of
some European countries and from the Council of Europe standards. The modification
of the legislation was not directly recommended by the Council of Europe, but came out
mainly from the text of the Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
